Paul Bocuse died today aged 91. He was a generous chef with a wicked sense of humour. We were able to visit the restaurant in Lyon a few years ago. Really the father of French cuisine. Protecting the history and traditions yet moving forward.
He died in the same bedroom that he was born in. Recently suffering from heart problems and Parkinson's.
He will be sadly missed.
